I love the colouring job here. The wood feels splintered and burnt, the metal looks like metal, and the hide on that creature looks menacing as it should be. One thing I did notice (and I know you're finished, but hey why not) is that the fireball thing floating above the monster's head doesn't seem to be reflecting any light onto its hide. I'm not sure exactly what's going on there though, so maybe it's not supposed to do that.

Hmm, yeah, there was some sort of idea behind that fireball initially, but I kinda lost track of it as the painting progressed. Doesn't really make much sense the way it is now, and it should be casting a glow on the hide...I'll probably change up that whole area later on.
